Occasionally, particularly on Windows the quickest way to resolve an issue you may be experiencing or in order to help install hardware is for one of our technical team to join with your machine remotely. To do this we use an application called TeamViewer which if you don't already have you will need to install. The steps below will guide you through what is a simple and short process.
NB: Only available for use with Windows or Android.
If you open a browser such as Chrome and type TeamViewer into the address bar you'll see a screen like that below.
Click or tap as indicated in the image to download the latest version. You'll see a screen like that below. Tap on the 'Download' button.
The download will appear at the bottom left corner of the screen on Windows or on a Mac. Click on the arrow at the side of the download to expand the options.
You''l; see the option to 'Open'.
The TeamViewer installer will appear as a popup on your screen.
Double click on the icon and follow the onscreen prompts to install the application.
Tap on the 'Continue' button.
Press the 'Agree' button to accept the terms and conditions then 'Continue'.
You may need to enter your password for the machine after which press the 'Install' button.
When installation is completed you'll see a message to advise you of that. Tap on the 'Close' button and open the application.
For one of our technical team to join your machine with TeamViewer the information we'll need are your ID and password as shown above. When TeamViewer has uploaded and you have the above screen in front of you message us in 'Support' with a phone number and someone from the support team will call you and join with your device.
